Adding crypto was a net negative for Keybase (to me, as a user). It bloats & complicates what I’d just like to be chat software.

It also paints a big target on your app — hack me and get access to money in people’s wallets.

It feels very gatekeep-y. Sure, math jargon is more succinct, but using simple English would be much more accessible.
