Last week, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth announced "Project Meridian: The Future of Warfare," a study of automated and AI-powered weaponry.

Musk's company, SpaceX, and Luckey's company Anduril, could potentially benefit from recommendations made in the study about future autonomous weapon systems.
