Perhaps one of the biggest problems there is cryptographic authentication of CRDTs which can map to their (semi)lattice structure (not to be confused with the concept from abstract algebra).

I’m still unclear what the best options are there: RSA accumulators, BLS, or ZKPs?

As a decade-ish long fan of CRDTs it seems to me like they’d be nice for L2 data structures on a natively CRDT L1 blockchain.

L1 could solve the hard problems of CRDTs like GC.

Has anyone actually explored this properly?
