UPDATE: In June, the Maryland State Legislature overwhelmingly passed a bill banning the so-called "Gay/Trans Panic Defense" but the republican governor didn't sign it. This week it becomes law w/o his signature.

I wasn't thinking about retirement until my mom retired a few years ago. But when I started to do the math, it blew my mind and scared the shit out of me. Suddenly $400K didn't feel like enough. And I understood better why people who make a lot of money are still stressed.
