I know I harp on the cop thing a lot but it's because while some people see it as a "single issue" it's far more complex than that. We fund police over everything else and our city suffers for it. We can't fund our communities because the cops take our money.

The problem is that it is free to pollute the atmosphere with CO2.

Because it is free, lots of business models make sense.

Examples: oil extraction, gas stations, global container shipping, international air travel, etc.
