Not yet perfect, of course, especially since we are still planning on building a semantic analysis portion, and a few other bits of the spec itself! I am really quite happy and proud of the progress made so far, however!

The API is coming together nicely as well! Here is an example of grabbing a field definition from a parsed document:

We chose to model a lot of the parser internals after @rust_analyzer (🙏🙏🙏), using Rowan and Ungrammar crates when working with the syntax tree. I am super happy with how it's shaping up so far and how everything is fitting together!

I want this surfaced; TRANS people made “Disclosure”, NOT @netflix. And it’s director confirmed that they only paid half of the production cost to rent it.

@netflix only cares about having the perception of being pro-trans, not actually BEING pro-trans.

That’s LOW.

@AcabEvery @StopTweetingMia It's important to note that Netflix didn't make or produce that documentary. Trans people did. Under the leadership of @SamFederFilm

Netflix distributed it after it was finished.

I've spent the past 3 days nose-deep in JS tooling again and holy shit it's hard to write really nice, abstract tooling in 2021, when you have to take into account any of like a thousand package managers, all sorts of build/bundler tools, and an ad-hoc build process overall???

Of course, this doesn't work in many types of work environments, and it's a privilege to be able to do this. But in my experience, integrating work and life in this way enables me to be a better parent, and a much happier, more engaged CEO.

Or if I respond to email while I'm on PTO, what message does that send my team, and how can I proactively communicate that this isn't an expectation for others, but rather a choice I'm making?

@joelle_emerson ("Joelle Emerson") replied to a tweet by @joelle_emerson:

Creating a healthy culture of work-life integration isn't easy. It also takes pro-active norm-setting and consistent communication - if I'm going to be offline at a pumpkin patch on a Tuesday afternoon, how does that impact my team?

@joelle_emerson ("Joelle Emerson") replied to a tweet by @joelle_emerson:

At the same time, I may respond to emails on while I'm on PTO - there may be something exciting or important happening, and I may welcome the break from parenting to get to jump into something I'm engaged in at work.

What does that mean for me? If my child's preschool has a visit to the pumpkin patch in the middle of a Tuesday, I'm going to block my calendar and go! (As I got to this week :)). If I'm feeling exhausted because I'm 8 months pregnant, I may cancel a 2pm meeting and take a nap.

@joelle_emerson ("Joelle Emerson") replied to a tweet by @joelle_emerson:

For *me*, this means starting with an understanding that work will sometimes interrupt life, and life will equally interrupt work. For me, creating artificial boundaries between these two things isn't just impractical, it's impossible.

I know it's not always a popular opinion, but I completely agree with this. The myth of "work-life balance" sets many of us - especially ambitious people with caregiving responsibilities - up for failure. I'm a big believer in the concept of "work-life integration."
