Proof-of-Work incentivizes reactivating fossil fuel plants that could've been decommissioned. That's an environmental travesty. The whole "crypto" space needs to decarbonize to be taken seriously at all.

Not defending what Alec Baldwin did, but the police involved in these altercations have qualified immunity, and the corrupt Supreme Court just overturned two lower court decisions which sided against cops who murdered people in situations that didn’t warrant a lethal response
