IMO having independent CSS/JS/WASM/etc infra libs is important to support the higher level bundlers/metaframeworks that "end users" use and it seems that Rust is closing the gaps in the ecosystem pretty fast now that people have latched on.

I once gave a whole talk about how things being easy is unrelated to how long they'll take. Many "easy" things are tedious. Especially with only basic tools/skills/practice.
