My conclusions about the whole thing are in the episode, so I won’t repeat them here, except to say: GET TO WORK ON YOUR THING. Even if you’re not sure about it. Especially if you’re not sure about it. Make a step toward it, and it will make two steps toward you.

Producer @hannahhhkyle is the baddest in the biz, and now that I’ve written about my ADHD, you know what she was working with. @andrew_eapen and @lalalanalise made the show sound better than I imagined. And of course @BenWise understood the theme music assignment and CRUSHED IT.

We even already have infrastructure for signing creative works: code signing certificates.

Anything NFTs can do, PKI can do better. Except money laundering. PKI doesn’t do money laundering better.

Is there a better alternative that provides all of the ostensible benefits of NFTs?

Of course. Private PKI issuance. We’ve been issuing certificates for web sites for years. It’s significantly more secure and you don’t have to burn down a forest to make one.

The purpose of NFTs is money laundering. Period.

If you’re not the one laundering money then you are the one getting scammed. Period.

All so-called “legit” transactions are cover. At best, you got scammed into thinking it’s not cover.
