tbh the entire history of me as a programmer has been a series of trying-to-make-this-game and horrendously failing because I just don't have the skills for it hahaha :|

(it's why I started programming in the first place, though the game idea has evolved over time)

I think the problem is I want two conflicting things: A living virtual world where players can interact, and a shifting, fluid, time-detached world where players can actually be creative and where the output is actual prose?
