When I first did the v4 letter I asked @impl_u64 whether I had to print it, sign it, and scan it, and he gave me some sort of "Boomer, this ain't the 90's, just send a PDF" answer.

So I guess today I'm making a PDF that looks old & legal-ish. Maybe I can rotate it a few degrees.

BGP is mostly filtered these days, so I'd had to send upstream a "Letter of Agency" like:

... to get my v4 route unfiltered. That worked, but same letter adding my v6 routes and:

"[X] doesn't like your LOA because it doesn't have a fancy letterhead"

@gcouprie Computing an Ed25519 signature takes 543724 cycles on a Cortex M4 @ 84 MHz (STM32F401) https://link.springer.com/chapter/10.1007/978-3-030-25283-0_6

It uses 137 uA/MHz in that mode or 20 mA https://www.st.com/resource/en/application_note/dm00096220-using-stm32f4-mcu-power-modes-with-best-dynamic-efficiency-stmicroelectronics.pdf

At 3.6V that’s 0.072 watts * (0.544 / 84) = 0.000466 joules for a signature
