Today, though, I had a realization. Graded readers and simplified content are great for learning common words, grammar, and turns of speech. But, the raw vocabulary for reading the paper will only come from trying to read the paper. (4/5)

A certain percentage of simple material that used to be difficult for me is easier to follow. I went back to a podcast (Morðcastið) that I’d attempted in August and maybe 20% comprehension had become more like 80%+. That’s a big step forward! (2/5)
