To my amazement I kept getting booked at this club and when ever I was there he managed to make me uncomfortable, so eventually I started trying to avoid him. It’s not until a year or so later I find out that this guy doesn’t book the acts.

He told me initially that he’d book me on the weekends and after one such gig (according to him - he got me the gig) he told me - owner of the venue had been in and hadn’t liked my set. And that I had now made it harder for him to book me for future gigs.

When I first moved to Scotland in 2018 I signed up for the “newbie” nights at all the clubs. At one of those clubs there was an older male employee. He was really nice to me and very flirty but I thought he was harmless.
