they've had petitions thrown out before after people realized that what they were told they were signing was not what they were signing

Oh and you may be shocked to hear this, but it seems SAN's canvassers were not totally honest with signers.
Several people told us that canvassers mentioned de-escalation training for officers (not in the initiative) without mentioning the staffing mandate.
