I’m not sure if I’m doing a good job. But I’m trying to give my answer to this basic question. Why do I think white peoples perceptions are unreliable when it comes to racial analysis? Because they do not seek to control their deeply held bias that we are unworthy by default.

Here’s a question that some people may ask themselves. Doesn’t every group want to believe that they’re disadvantaged? Why do we act like Black people’s perceptions are correct while white people’s have to be false? I think it’s a reasonable question. https://twitter.com/polotek/status/1415028789160022017
