it's an interesting exercise to imagine what might encourage someone one might otherwise assume to be quite intelligent to tweet stuff like this in the face of widespread poverty, people barely able to meet rent, and jumping on (and losing to) pyramid schemes (BTC/NFTs/Robinhood)
