Ended up having to buy 3 @TwinklyLED 600-LED sets for our 7-8' tall 🎄. Expensive (each set is on sale for $200), and there are some bugs, but the end result is magical.
You visually map all the sets so they act as one and the app knows where each bulb is. And then fire it up...
