In New York and ran into this image of Jesus, which was actually banned by the Vatican from 1959-1978 for its overt nationalism! (the mystic who oversaw its creation was Polish, and the Polish flag seems to radiate from Christ’s chest 🇵🇱. The ban was lifted by Polish pope JP2!)
