I don’t expect twitter to be the best representation of a wider population. But I do think there is something to be learned from the responses I got to this question. Not just that where people are resentful, but it’s partly because they believe we are undeserving.

We’re surrounded by these things every day and in so many ways. At some point you can’t deny it even if you still wanted to.
I’ve been trying to figure out if the reality that white people live in feels like that to them. I’ve been trying to be open to that possibility.
