I just read a summary of the story, and I found it disturbing and vaguely threatening in light of my life, but I'm trying not to read too much into it considering maybe it is some sort of bug in Amazon's software... Just weird.

This is weird. I went to go for a run and found an unexpected package from Amazon addressed to me. I open it up to find this book that I definitely did not order:

And is not the sort of book I would enjoy, so I can't imagine somebody who knows me would send it as a gift.
The package slip inside looks like it has been cut off (do they do this for gifts?), so all I see is the order number, but not who ordered it. Is this some sort of scam?
