I have to use Windows at work, and it seems that with a recent update Microsoft turned on Bing search results from the start menu, and there doesn't appear to be an (easy) way to disable it anymore... I never want to search the web from the start menu. I go to a browser to search the web using the search engine I want to use. This feels like a way to force me to use their search product... I am so tired of the state of computing. Everything is a manipulation and advertisement.

But it made me think of how hard it is to translate that phrase.
Släcka is to put out, a candle, a fire, a lightbulb. So it's implied that it concerns some light source.
The whole thing is like "you did extinguish the unnamed light source, right?"
