ten years ago I thought that it really was a bummer that there seemed to be some kind of ironclad law that every organization becomes increasingly ineffectual and bumbling the larger it grows and that you can't avoid devolving into inane bullshit at scale
today I realize that's something to be thankful for

the problem with collapseOS is that once you start down that train of thought it's very difficult to avoid the temptation to write increasingly elaborate fanfic scenarios of post-collapse society and how it will function, and then if the collapse happens you will have missed some crucial detail that completely changes the dynamic of society so that everyone who finds your writing just laughs at you for not realizing some fundamental bit they take for granted as part of their everyday life

Makes me wonder if it was common to take the train for such distances back then.
There's a story that sounds too silly to be true, but it's actually true.
A couple from Texas were in Stockholm and asked to buy a ticket to Venice.
Then they ended up in Vännäs, not far from where I live.
Because Venice is not called Venice in Swedish or in Italian I guess, but Venice sounds kind of like Vännäs.
Fortunately they enjoyed their snowy detour, and the train company (back when it was SJ) made it right.

Dear Samsung, your Fold3 looks really nice! Please notify me when you cut the price in half. And then in half again. And again.

It's the same with icebrain. Two brains in cahoots, goofing up my English.

Don't know what the mouthpiece is even called.

We should get a better mouthpiece for the dustsucker.

New version of the app on the App Store should fix the crash issues introduced in the previous release!

Why would anyone send stuff with DHL here. Now I have to get into town because there's no "DHL Service Point" nearby.
I mean, I love competition, it sure sucked when I could only go to any location of The Postal Service for postal service. /s

I tried to turn some soap bars into liquid hand soap last night but I messed up and now it has the consistency and colour of semen.
At least it smells better.
