This page generates a map of the river basin for any location. What blew my mind was when the perspective shifts and suddenly you're doing a 3D slalom down the path to the sea.

Interestingly enough, this didn't affect my running for the past 10 years or so, but as the doctor said the stress has been adding up and it became a problem at some point.
