I tested #Google #AdSense on one of my #websites for a few months.

Made 0 Cent #revenue.

Back when I was a teenager I had some websites which made around 20 Euro per Month via Advertisements.

The #Advertising #market has changed - Sponsored Content is probably more important than ever for Websites, most (technical interested) ppl seem to use #AdBlocker.

You would (should) get different results depending on locale which is just begging for trouble.

Case-insensitive file systems don't make sense in a Unicode world.
Is SCHEISS.txt the same as scheiß.txt?
Is ᴴ.txt the same as ʰ.txt? Those are both lowercase according to Unicode.

Well actually, coffee beans are not beans, but seeds.
What you are referring to as bean juice or bean soup is in fact seed tisane.

Over this weekend I actually started and finished an entire programming project. It's a little inotify watcher (in #Rust) and a little uploader script (in #Python) which now allow me to directly export pics from #Darktable to #Flickr. I fed up hauling files manually :-)

I'll publish the code and may be write something about it over the week.

Around #LaPalma you can see multiple circles in the cloud field. It looks like the wave you get when a stone in dropped into a pond.

In this case the stone is not falling from above, but the #volcano spewing hot air does it from below.

this is the fourth text editor I've written in Fennel. I spent the least amount of time on it, but it's the most usable. I'm pretty sure the lesson to be learned here is how cheating is awesome and you should always do it?

I was messing about with "lite", a text editor written in about 1000 lines of C and 4000 lines of Lua: I ran my antifennel compiler over it to turn all the Lua into #fennel code to see how it would run. I ended up finding a couple bugs in antifennel, but once I fixed them it ran pretty smoothly with minimal need for changes!
