I am simple caveman of a developer, and I am not an expert on all the ways that websites can potentially annoy me. Is it possible for a service worker to be sending notifications from the browser even if the service worker is registered to some site I don't currently have open? Assume I accidentally allowed notifications from said site. I'm trying to figure out the source of mystery notifications I've been seeing.
