It's interesting (and disturbing) to see the extent media helps normalize these services in these sorts of offhanded ways. They're all part of the marketing (propaganda) machine.

Regarding LB[1]: The linked article has this sentence in the last paragraph:
"It's becoming more evident by the day that these AI-powered creative tools probably represent an inevitable technological advancement that can push productivity to new levels."
I disagree that it is evident. I disagree that it is inevitable. I disagree that it will "push productivity to new levels". And I disagree that what is implied by "push productivity to new levels" is desirable.

In this blog post, the author made a Go program go 1.7x faster by avoiding a heap allocation: https://hmarr.com/blog/go-allocation-hunting/
I love Go, but this post gave me my first genuine reason to have a problem with the language.
The way in which the allocation was avoided (see photo) is totally arbitrary, and nothing about the language indicates that the original code or the change would avoid a heap allocation.
Rust doesn't have this issue: the language semantics inform you of the performance you can expect.

A spell from an old grimoire book, shining in the middle of the scene. The cat tries to grip the book to not fly away. The witch is in full focus, eye closed, probably finishing her spell. The two characters are my OC, Pepper and Carrot. (remote)

- A photo of me standing in a casual pose in parking lot in an industrial setting. My right arm is extended and resting on an alabaster stone. The stone is resting on a sandbag, which is sitting on an upright carving bench. My left arm is hanging by my side, and in my left hand I am holding the grinder I was using a moment before. I am dressed in t-shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. My clothes and skin are covered in a thin layer of alabaster dust. I have on a cap, safety goggles, and an N100 respirator. It appears I am looking at the camera, but you can't see my face. Assume I'm smiling. (remote)
