This matters because the EU's DMA doesn't cover the majority of browsing, so every additional jurisdiction that takes action adds to the addressable market for true browser engine choice. That, in turn, is what is necessary to convince browser makers to try to port in what is absolutely going to be a hostile environment created by Apple.
The larger the market, the easier the call.
