I don't say this lightly, but modern frontend is in an ethical ditch. Due to the commitments of its leading lights to misapprehensions about silicon progress, bolstered by their own experiences as wealthy people inside the privilege bubble, we are walking further and further away from the idea of a web for everyone every year.

We have lost a decade to JS-addled nonsense, and it will be a small miracle if the web remains relevant on the back of it.
