Well, well, well. Let's find out if one of these emails actually work, because guess what:
I received a broken, rattling device 🙃

why am I so obsessed with anyURI, you say? why, because I am olde enough now to have seen far too many evil, stoopid, or just plain flabbergastingly weird things done with my code. deliberately or not…
and THAT is why I am so obsessed with getting anyURI tied down properly. and RTF.
sh*t, now I’m thinking about RTF too…

and do not even talk to me about “rich text” fields quite yet, please. anyURI is such an admittedly sloppy fooking definition that dealing effectively with that in a reasonably fast and small footprint manner is quite enough to drive me mad for the moment, thankyouverymuch
proximity to “rich text” fields has been known to make my eye start twitching

It's important you only buy quality products from well established brands!
My USB meters? I refuse to buy anything but the trusted "Guang Zhou Zhu Zhi Ke Dian Zi Ke Ji You Xian Gong Si" from the world famous "Tianhequhuachengdadao3-7haosilouD6fang".
This label is just getting weirder and weirder with every line 😂

why am I obsessing about building a decent anyURI object, you ask? well…
it seems to me that there are usually a few key points in a system where it is *really* important to tightly define what can happen, a few key points through which most of the attempts at doing evil sh*t with my work must flow. and in implementing a spec like ActivityPub, one of those points is when a uri is (re)created, because… well, it is Webbish.

That was a mistake. Decided to walk to the grocery store, less than a km away. Barely made it: ears feel almost frostbitten, can't feel my feet, and yes, I was bundled up in good solid Minnesota style.
I think I'll stay home for a while longer.
