Incredibly excited that per this morning's Blink API OWNERS meeting, WebGPU will be approved to ship in Chromium 113, and the existing Origin Trial will be extended through 114, allowing "gapless" availability for early adopters:

The terminal and keyboard are integrated into the desk itself, with swooping curves used to transition between each feature. The terminal screen is quite small, on a 45 degree angle towards the user, just off to the right from the keyboard. (remote)

Any good alternatives to GoPros out there? I bought three of their cams over the years, and they all died on me in inexplicable ways.
The worst part is they never seemed to fix their software freezing in the middle of a recording 🙄 According to the official support that problem is unheard of, and yet all of my models seemed affected by it 😬

It's possible to believe both that nobody goes into frontend to deliver bad experiences to most users, and the privilege bubble has created a toxic miasma of ignorance and self-congratulation that ensures most new hires know only tools that set them up to fail most users.

My laptop's "Anti JavaScript JavaScript Club" sticker has people asking a lot of questions already answered by the stidker.

The selection bias amongst respondents is incredible, and by slicing the questions to "JS" rather than "frontend", it encourages partisans for specific frameworks and patterns for building UIs to luxuriate in the idea that their way is the only way -- or the best way. It's a huge disservice to frontend to silo our understanding of the technology landscape this way.

So I guess the State of JS survey is out, and I can't describe how utterly bored I am with the Hacker News Consensus Report when something like half the web is WordPress.

I wonder how much of the emissions were meanwhile "exported" to other countries…
