IMO, at least in the near to mid future (5-10years), “AI” a la ChatGPT or stable diffusion will mainly threaten “low-complexity, low-stakes” creative work, and for the rest of the world will generally be a useful tool.

By “low-complexity, low-stakes”, I mean where the question/request single-domain, the answer/output is simple (~autocorrect/snippet) or not-concretely-falsifiable, and the input is fairly uniform and/or easy to obtain data.
