Another attack could be to note that CWV for mobile currently excludes iOS devices because most of the Web Perf APIs that the dataset uses are missing from WebKit (lolsob), and that in many geographies, we might be under acceptable thresholds for ~75+% of users if things were reweighted to include iOS.

There are big methodological problems, of course, and we should be having a debate about how that will look when INP is included. But we aren't having that debate. Why not?

I'm limited in what I can share from consulting and remediation because teams don't want dirty laundry aired & I'm not in the habit of breaking trust w/ folks I'm called in to advise (this is not nice-to-have: performance is cultural, so a lot of what needs to get fixed requires trust to change engrained practices and beliefs).

So this should be the easiest smackdown ever? Where's the grounded counter.
