Quitting sertraline is proving more difficult then it has in the past.
They should really make an antidepressant that doesn’t give you insomnia and sexual dysfunction.
What’s more depressing than no orgasms & no sleep? I’d rather have my normal sadnesses.

lmao I just failed my first shiny capture in Scarlet/Violet. Ran across a shiny Pawmo and forgot that it has moves that do recoil damage
It'd be more frustrating if this were in another pokemon game, but they made it so much easier to both stumble across random shinies and find them proactively if you really want to

Also, Discourse (if I'm not mis-naming the software powering discuss.pixls.us) is pretty much a pinnacle of evolution of discussion boards.

It warms my heart when I stumble upon places where the Internet is exactly as it was ~10 years ago: useful. Yesterday night I spent about 30 minutes putting together a question about #raw processing in #darktable on pixls.us[1] and woke up to a treasure trove of in-depth answers which taught exactly what I was missing. Brilliant!

“Today at 6 p.m. EST, the Georgia Senate Ethics Committee is scheduled to consider several possible versions of Senate Bill 221, which appears to be this session’s omnibus anti-voting bill. One proposed S.B. 221 would encourage mass voter challenges, insulate prosecutors from accountability, add new restrictions on election officials and more. "

- Comment by OneCSeven on youtube: what strikes me the most is the absolute inability for Musk to experience satisfaction, to be satiated. He’s a hungry ghost. He was up in the middle of the night haunted by the absolute deprivation of only 9 million impressions on his worthless superbowl tweet. He’s so taken in by the Skinner box of twitter that he bought it and is making the box-maintainers specifically give him higher numbers. But the whole point is that no matter what number the machine gives him he will feel dissatisfied with it because that feeling is precisely what makes the machine work. This is the endgame of whale-baiting, right? You make software that’s hostile to brains in the hopes a few rich people get poisoned by it and become willing to exchange money for higher numbers. In twitter’s case, they got eaten by the whale. They get slack notifications at 2am if the whale isn’t getting enough numbers. In a way, the app created its owner. That’s a little fucked up to me, more so than the standard AI domination tropes, that a system without agency ends up in control. (remote)
