An actual specific example of this is that on NTSC consoles (it was fixed for PAL), playing DPCM samples often messes up controller input. The traditional fix was to read from the controller multiple times, but they recently found out you can get around this by reading the controllers right after triggering a sprite update, as long as you don't take too long.

Today, my "sausage and egg" included: zucchini-pepper-bacon hash, an avocado (made in a flower) with a mayo-ketchup sauce dusted with paprike, a toast and a dollop of cranberry sauce. That's all beside sausages and eggs themselves. Am I overdoing this?
