An entire new baby hair has sprouted further down from hairline than any of the others, maybe there is hope for me after all

@slightlyoff … so you can “log in” on multiple devices without needing the private key.
“Logging in” is just a metaphor in the client. It means “create a view of this social data as if I am user X.”
Anyone can “log in” as me and see my “feed”. (i.e.: any client can reconstruct my feed from the public data in the API.)

Re: Web Crypto: I’m using (IIRC) the TaeetNaCl library for signing/verifying content. Not sure whether it uses Web Crypto libraries under the hood.
Multi-device support: since it’s one key per user ID, the ID creation workflow suggests users store it in a password manager app. You just have to have access to that private key everywhere you want to write updates from.
All read-only operations are public though. (Can’t ever leak private data if there is none! 😅)

He pointed to the social nature of Roblox, as well as how it offers the ability make games and sell items on its platform. That could explain why Roblox’s adjusted revenue and user metrics have outperformed more traditional game companies in recent months, according to the analyst."
