I suddenly worked myself up to rage-restarting my old Android project[1]. Unfortunately my rage is consumed mostly on wrestling the mess that is Android SDK + Gradle + IntelliJ. It's an incomprehensible mess that has a habit of bitrotting every two weeks and demand some updates and changes out of the blue. And I haven't touched for more than a year. So much crap cruft.

Re-encoding and optimization of PNG images removes junk data from files.

Optimizing PNGs (including #ImageOptim) happens to fix leaky files from the "#Acropalypse" Android bug.

The long saga of fixing my hot water dispenser is finally over. It started at the end of last year and included me disassembling the water supply part, realizing I didn't need to do it, finding another access to the part that was actually broken, ordering a replacement part, which was lost in transit by FedEx, ordering it again (paying $30 for a $0.66 part) and finally getting it and fixing into its place. Whew…
