Upgrading to the new Ubuntu beta (23.04) went unremarkable. The only drastic change I see is font rendering got even thinner :-). May be a bit too much.

Oh, and icons in the doc now show unread counts from apps but can't reset it.

I'm officially stopping boosting people's toots that use lowercase letters at the beginning of sentences. On the same grounds as many here don't boost images without an alt text: it makes it noticeably harder to access content.

And in case of alt text I can at least understand why some skip it (it's an anxiety inducing barrier for posting). In case of lowercase sentences I can't discern any reason beyond style.
