I quit my job last week, and for the first time ever, I don’t have anything else lined up.

So: Do you know someone who needs a senior-level jack-of-all-trades coder and sysadmin? Who can also write well? And has thirty years of experience delivering robust, high-quality products quickly? In Los Angeles or remote? Send ‘em to greg@eod.com!

It doesn't seem like there's much modern software development for the apple IIGS. At least compared to other early personal computers. There are decent emulators, a nice GUI operating system, a distinctive look and a fancy wavetable sound chip so there's promising raw material to work with

Since I'm seeing a new wave of people saying they plan to leave Twitter, you may like my browser tool that takes the zip file of your Twitter export and returns a zip file of a web site that lets people browse and search your tweets. You can just upload the files wherever you normally host html and it'll work just fine.

@futurebird If I had to make a prediction--USB is about 30 years old, version 4 has kept full backward compatibility with 1-3 while finally ending the ancient Firewire design beef (merging with Thunderbolt, which adds emulation for other cables and power delivery for larger gadgets)...plus now it's got an EU mandate. It'll have _at least_ the lifespan of coaxial cable (invented 1880, standardized 1940)
