expanding on my bio a little to create an #introduction

I became fascinated with computers in the early 70s, got HookedOnUnixoids™️ in the 80s, helped design & code a FOSS Multiuser Online Virtual Environment System (MOVES) called VNet in the 90s, & ran a test/demo site at https://web.archive.org/web/19990129012736/http://ariadne.iz.net/~jeffs/vnet/ so what "Meta" has made seems mundane.

I worked with the W3C Mobile Web Initiative in the 2000s, so all your devices could work together & look & act about the same.

I play with h/w, s/w, ideas, and 🐈‍⬛

Last night I discovered that if one of your computer-controlled party members strolls into a pit trap, it takes EVERYONE in your party to the floor below.
