There are a few fundamentally broken things about how Mastodon posts work that are terrible vectors for abuse, as well as being bad for basic usability. Maybe they are fixable, I don't know. To be clear: I am a fan of Mastodon....

They don't want to go after Trump as a third-rate mob boss who blusters and threatens people.

Those are a dime a dozen and everyone knew this about Trump when he was elected president in 2016.

They want to nail him as the first president in United States history to make a serious effort to overturn a presidential election and remain in power.

Type #1: Third rate mobster. A dime a dozen.

Type #2: The would-be tryant trying to subvert the Constitution itself.

Assembling a Philips CM200 200kV TEM Electron Gun after extensive rebuild. These resistor chains form the accelerator voltage divider, at 200kV each chain has 40kV across it.

After resistors, corona rings go on each stage. Assembled, it goes in a lead lined housing, and Sulfur Hexafluoride replaces the air.

SF6 is better than air when it comes to holding off 44 kV across a gap as small as 1.7 mm.

Don’t now when it *actually* discharges there (not pictured yet) but it does (did?). Frequently.

Yes, two went to Georgetown Law. Nice work Georgetown. Way to get on the board! It’s a good start but see if you can start a few wars or overthrow something and get back to us.
