Visited Taos Pueblo yesterday and learned about the siege and ultimate destruction of the original church by the US Army in 1847 as part of their campaign to put down an uprising. The different stories told by the indigenous tour guide (and corroborated by local journalists - women and children massacred) compared to what appears on the Wikipedia page (150 “rebels” killed) is striking. In contrast, much of today’s political violence is aimed at people – and most of the deadly outbursts tracked by Reuters have come from the right.’

NEW: Belorussian hackers have targeted foreign diplomats in the country since Feb. 2022, at the start of the invasion of Ukraine.
Group targets them by intercepting traffic at the telecom provider level, suggesting government collaboration, per ESET.
Once ESET researchers spotted the hackers in 2022, they have been able to trace back their activities all the way back to 2014.
