Do I know anyone that works on Cloudflare Radar's Internet Quality reports?
Would love to get distribution values at P25, P50, P75, P90, and P99 for worldwide traffic, which I assume is in this dataset, but just not published?

Thanks in advance for boosts and/or intros (DMs open!).

After roughly 6 years of work, embedded-hal 1.0 is finally stabilized and released!
- https://github.com/rust-embedded/embedded-hal/issues/177embedded-hal (often abbreviated e-h) is a hardware abstraction layer in the form of a collection of Rust traits (both sync and async). It allows writing device drivers that will run on any hardware that implements the HAL.
Stabilization is a great thing for the Embedded Rust ecosystem. Go ahead and write drivers!

Say, you know that thing a lot of people have been talking about lately? The popular one folks generally seem to like?
Well, as a social media account holder, I recognize an opportunity to post a devastating snarky takedown about that very well-liked thing!
Notice I will not be making any useful critique, nor offering any helpful suggestions. My plan is merely to reap social credit by being an asshole, which I'm entitled to, because other people owe it to me to discuss only what I approve.

what: @ROCDIGI group netwe have established a weekly net to explore the possibilities in JS8 with others, centered around but not limited to the Rochester NY area. feel free to join us no matter your location, it will be more fun with a good turnout to explore things like automated checkins and message relaying.
the idea is to establish a welcoming environment for people to get comfortable operating in this short-text-message mode, which works great with low power, with less-than-optimal antennas & sites, and over relatively long distances-per-watt.
looking fwd to working together

Antiracists in the American South have fought hard for people outside the South to recognize that not only do they exist, but they fight, and sometimes win, and should not dismiss the South as a uniformly racist place that cannot be helped. And it's something I think of a lot internationally for racist countries and groups of countries. Israel is full of racism, but also anti-racist activists. France, same thing. Germany, same thing. Singapore, the most racist of this bunch, same thing.

100 Days
2024-01-14
An artistic protest action in Jerusalem marking 100 days since the hostages were taken captive. The message was “Stop everything. Bring them all back”.We walked down the street with “100 days” signs taped to our clothes and at a given moment everyone froze in place. After 15 minutes we started chanting “Now. Now. Now…” (meaning “bring them home now” or “deal now”) for several minutes. We repeated these steps twice.

When sending a file attachment to someone else, include your name in the file, and additional info too.
e.g. Instead of assignment1.txt do: mariatta_assignment1_cmpt123.txt
This helps them when the recipient needs to download similar file from various people.
I do this now when I upload files too, eg
Mariatta_Resume_for_CompanyX.pdf
mariatta_personalized_pricelist_for_you.pdf
etc
