If #Apple continues on this path I’m going to have to switch back to Android. The idea that they deserve a fee from developers for people simply running programs on their operating system is unhinged. The App Store fee is justified because it’s a distribution channel. “This is a biblical, monumental moment that’s been put together by God,” one convoy organizer said on a recent planning call. “We are besieged on all sides by dark forces of evil,” said another. “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called the sons of God. @serge @Bam as to the overlap between antisemitism and antizionism, where, at least on the fediverse, the intersection is the union, I see precious little discussion of the rights of indigenous people.

Yes, this was pretty clearly a strategic win for Hamas, and that's no accident. To imagine that the way this has unfolded is coincidental would be the height of naivete.

It has in most ways worked out just as Hamas wants indeed, not only in Gaza but also activating other partners such as Hezbollah, and the Houthis.

It didn't activate the PLO as they wanted. The PLO is rationally staying out of this.

Now we just need to hope that the next Israeli election can happen and that they get a left wing government soon so there's a chance for peace.

This won't stop the antisemitism or the "anti-Israel" people. They'll hate us no matter what, but it will possibly be a peace for Palestinians, and maybe also eventually for Israelis.

For the Jews in the diaspora, we know that the hate against us has nothing to do with Israel. Israel is just an excuse.
