Restructuring a paragraph so that it flows smoother is so satisfying. I love spending way longer than I should polishing a single sentence, only to allow some poor grammar in the following passage.
I love discovering that sentence or two that so succinctly communicates my message, I move it up from word 800 to my opener.
It's good stuff.

Those are NOT FAILURES. They are like little nuggets of learning that you have been investing in. Like collecting sea glass on an infinite beach of possibilities.
Do not consider that wasted time. You explored an idea, or some creative thought. Now take that learning and carry it forward to the new thing.
