I'm fairness: they do pay you for your hours (albeit not great), which is way more than most companies do. They also don't give you a time limit which is both good and bad if you ask me.
The part that really aggravated me was I was three rounds deep and nobody would help me at all. It was tech I didn't know and everybody shrugged and just said "figure it out."
It felt very much like they'd removed the traditional gatekeeping in the interview process only to double down on it in other ways.

My worst interview ever, by far, was with Automattic. While everyone I interacted with was incredibly nice, it was a miserable experience. (It was a series of take-home code exams, escalating in difficulty until you were eventually tossed into an overwhelmingly complex repo with no help, and told to go figure it out. "It might take months," they said, as though it was helpful.)
Then, I was confused by this. But the more I learn about who Matt Mullenweg actually is, the less surprised I am.

How do astronomers know? It is because this is a “recurrent nova”, one that grows and erupts every ~80 years. It is known to have erupted in 1217, 1787, 1866 and 1946.
After explosion, it will be visible to the unaided eye for several days and about a week with binoculars.
