In case you're curious, with minimal tuning via Powertop on the Framework 16:
Display backlight at minimum in X (Radeon driver), active powersave governor (AMD EPP), mostly passive expansion modules, wifi and bluetooth blocked: about 7.2 W. The panel is about half of that. This would make for a bit over 12 hrs runtime.
Active performance governor: about 7.9 W.
Wifi and Bluetooth back on: about 8.2 W.
I can improve on this; I wish more computers had Oxide's power measurement electronics!

First scans of Silbersalz arrived. It's motion picture film (really, it's Kodak Vision3 in different packaging) developed in ECN-2. It is impressive how fine the grain is. But their lab processing time is much slower than I expected.

Now if you're asking me about the *community*? The jury is still out. Have found some friendly folks. But since most relays are just wide open, there are also some things that I'd rather not be associated with.
This might get better as I grow a social network w/ more follows there, and limit my feed to that. But when bootstrapping a network in a new system, reading the "new" and "trending" posts is a good(?) way to find folks to follow.

I also later found several problems with Mastodon's (ab?)use of ActivityPub (https://github.com/NfNitLoop/feoblog/issues/42).
#Nostr is much more like what I had in mind for FeoBlog, so I of course prefer its model. And I've found a lot to like about its protocol.
