Nvidia’s progress paints an optimistic picture of further gains. It also signals the difficulty of trying to use model training to build a moat around a business.”

Netflix reportedly spent over $100 million for access to #Facebook users' private #data
This was accomplished via multiple APIs. These APIs gave #Netflix access to data like app and non-app friends and private messages between users.

I would like to join @ellyloel in willing the term "web designer" back into existence. Personally, I hate how "frontend developer" became a thing and suddenly someone else was responsible for design. The fact that you can follow the president of the United States (@potus) from your Mastodon account instead of being forced to have an X or Threads account for it is a huge W in my book. It's working. DEI is under attack everywhere.
My questions for white folk that do not consider themselves to be racist, and that have Black coworkers...
1. Since the racist attacks started, have you vocalized or verbalized your support of DEI to any of your Black coworkers? Either publicly or one on one?
2. If not why not? If yes, great! But why yes?
3. If not, how do you think this makes your Black co-workers feel about the workplace, and about you?

The account and ballastics of the #IDF strike on #WorldCentralKitchen vehicles leave absolutely ZERO room for doubt: #Israel deliberately targeted the aid agency in #Gaza. The clearly marked vehicles were spread out over a 1.5 mile route previously agreed with the IDF. They were targeted in succession, as passengers from the first vehicle were fleeing to the 2nd, then 3rd vehicle. These things don't happen by 'mistake' as #Netanyahu pretends with a smile. https://www.channel4.com/news/three-british-aid-workers-in-gaza-killed-in-israel-airstrike
