Tutto quello che scrivete e caricate su mastodon viene copiato e caricato sui server mastodon federati, quindi un'immagine da 100KB potrebbe essere replicata su 1000 server e pesare sull'intera rete per 100MB!
Anche se non caricate immagini il testo andrà ad appesantire il database di centinaia di server!È importantissimo cancellare i vecchi messaggi per mantenere mastodon più sostenibile economicamente e ridurre i costi di tutti:
