We can't go viral on Mastodon (read as we can't game the system because humans only boost good stuff)
They want a algo driven system (why do you want to see angry posts all day & night?)
You can't make money on Mastodon (WTF that even mean?)
It is way too technical & confusing. Which server to join? WTF is the server?
Only the last one is valid. The rest are all lazy reasons.

Ten years ago I used OpenStreetMap data on my GPS to help me cycle across the US. It was much more reliable than Google Maps (which sometimes invented roads that didn't exist).
Today, I'm using OpenStreetMap data with @organicmaps to cycle in France.

Seeing lots of people say Three Mile Island was the worst nuclear disaster in the USA. I think people need to be more aware of the Church Rock uranium mill spill. It happened four months after the Three Mile Island incident, and was way more of a disaster. The catch is that it happened in a place that is mostly indigenous land, so it's not made up to be a big deal. Read up on it and learn about how it still affects indigenous people.
