You know, it's pretty hard to hire for any niche tech stack (and they're all niche, friends), especially when corporations show no interest in attempting to train competent people.
Maybe you can't find somebody with 5 years experience in rust, but maybe you can find somebody with 10 years experience who wants to learn but finds it difficult to juggle learning random tech they're not using with professional gigs and having a life outside of computer touching.
